Basil the Boogie Woogie Brontosaurus Pattern

Skill Level: Intermediate

Skills used: Basic knit and purl stitches, increases, decreases, knitting in the round, picking up stitches, basic sock knitting skills, Kitchener Stitch, holding live stitches on waste yarn and coming back to them later, and basic sewing skills. This pattern is written using double pointed needles.

Amount of Time To Complete Project: About 10-15 hours depending on skill level

Yarn: 150-200 yards of yarn in your main color and 100-150 yards of yarn in your contrast color

Gauge: You pick! Simply knit with your choice of yarn on needles 2-3 sizes smaller than called for to get a tight knit fabric your stuffing wont show through

Needles: You pick! A set of 4-5 dpn’s in your chosen size. See the pattern for more info

Notions: safety eyes or scrap yarn, waste yarn in the same weight (but different color) from your working yarn, tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers, stuffing, straight pins, row counte.
